He has proven himself to be a key enabler in bringing together effective collaborations having great strengths in networking, communications and team development.

Andrew has an engineering and product development background from within the automotive industy which allowed him to develop skills in business strategy, manufacturing, finance, business planning and customer relationship building.
Having developed his skills in the automotive industry Andrew moved to supporting industry through government agencies developing and delivering research and development funding and support programmes. This gave him an in-depth understanding of government funding and policies as well as providing the opportunity to be a key contributor to several Industrial Strategies. Andrew has delivered several key programmes notably what was then the largest real-world trial of electric vehicles and more recently the business case for the Transport Systems Catapult and the Traveller Needs Study

His main focus is Low Carbon, Autonomous and Connected technologies but his background has provided him with extensive knowledge and understanding of Intelligent Mobility technologies and the challenges facing the whole transport sector
Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institite of Mechanical Engineers. He holds a Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering Management, a Masters degree in Automotive Engineering Design, Manufacture and Management and an MBA from Henley Management College
